Fiske Library

Attention:  All Fiske Library books are due on Monday, June 9.  Students will be allowed to check out books until June 6, but all books must come back by the global due date, even if students have not finished reading them.

Fiske Elementary School Library in Lexington, Massachusetts, serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade.  The Library is home to over 14,000 items, including books, magazines, Playaway audio books, educational videos and DVDs, and reference materials.  The Library's computers provide students with the technology to search for library books and access to online encyclopedias, periodical databases, and age-appropriate web sites.

The goals of the Fiske School Library are to foster the love of reading, teach information literacy skills, enhance classroom curriculum instruction, and provide a wide range of quality children's literature.  Fiske Library is managed by library teacher Karen Kishpaugh, assisted by a dedicated staff of 70 volunteers.
