Any student who will not be returning to Diamond (or Lexington Public Schools) for the 2013-2014 academic school year must inform the guidance office
in writing. Student withdrawal forms are available in the main office or you may email or send a letter. Include the following information: name, grade, withdrawal date, and reason for withdrawal. If you are moving, include the city, state, or country. If you want your academic records forwarded to a new school, you must fill out a Record Release form which may also be obtained in the main office. If you have any questions, please call or email
Mrs. Mattos.
Welcome to William Diamond Middle School’s website. One of two middle schools in Lexington, Diamond offers a rich and interesting program of study in traditional academic subjects, physical education, the arts, and technology. We serve about 780 students, in grades 6, 7 and 8. We are proud to participate in the METCO Program, welcoming students from Boston as well as Lexington into our Diamond community.
This website is designed to give you access to a range of information about Diamond, and about your child’s current and future experiences here. Among other things, you will find information about departments and courses, and links to teacher web pages, as well as information about clubs and activities. We hope that you find it informative and easy to use. Welcome to Diamond!
