Principal’s Message
Greetings! It is hard to believe we are in the final stretch of the school year. Where has the time gone? The Lexington School Committee has identified the last school day as Monday, June 24 and it will be a half-school day for elementary students (12:15 p.m. dismissal).
I would like to take an important opportunity to recognize the Estabrook Teachers and Staff during our Staff Appreciation Month! Our staff works so hard to ensure each and every day is a success for our students academically and socially. I am so truly grateful for their expertise, collaboration and positive energy. They make a huge difference in the lives of our students, now and in the future. I encourage students and parents to send a brief message to our teachers to let them know they are appreciated. I would also like to thank the Estabrook PTA and community for the incredible sweet treats we receive each week for staff breakfast. We are so grateful!
In the last month, our students have celebrated National Poetry Month as readers and writers. I have been sincerely impressed with the wide range of poetry our students have been exploring! This week is also National Children's Book Week at Estabrook School. A host of fun activities are planned. We encourage you to ask your children about the events each day.
Estabrook has numerous events and activities planned for students and families. Please check our web calendar carefully and take note of all the upcoming events. We look forward to celebrating the end of the year with our students and families!
See you at Estabrook School!
Respectfully
Sandra A. Trach
