PAPAS & PJs*                ages 4-7 (and dads or grandfathers)
Wednesdays: March 15, April 12, May 17      7:00-7:30 p.m.
A monthly good-night story time for 4-7-year-olds and their dads or grandpas. Join us for stories, gentle activities with stuffed friends, a relaxation exercise, and a good-night tale. Please bring a favorite stuffed animal and wear your pajamas if you'd like.

GET CREATIVE WITH THE ART OF ED EMBERLEY!*        Ages 5 & up

Drop in for art activities in the style of Massachusetts author and illustrator Ed Emberley. Experiment with thumb print drawings, combine shapes to draw almost anything, or color one of Ed's well-known characters with your own palette of colors.

Ever wonder what it's like behind the scenes at the Library?  Bring your caregivers for this super special look at things you don't normally see when you visit the Library.  Where do the books go when you put them in the book drop?  How do new books enter the Library collection? What is this Library of Things?

Have fun investigating ramps! We'll provide a variety of materials to build and test ramps. What happens with ramps at different heights? How does friction affect a ramp? Do some materials work better than others? Get creative & have fun exploring!

Jungle Jim presents STAR WARS JEDI KNIGHT TRAINING SHOW         grades K-4

Star Wars fans are invited to come meet a Jedi Knight who will lead you through a series of challenges including Jedi Force Magic, the Laser Balloon Barrage, and Jedi Teamwork.  The program culminates with an epic lightsaber duel with the Jedi Master.

Inspired by Rick Riordan's Camp Half-Blood.  Each year at Camp Half-Blood, campers get a bead to add to their necklace.  Come learn how to make paper beads and create your own Camp Half-Blood necklace!

Join us as we celebrate Children's Book Week with a special read-aloud. Come have a snack and listen to a librarian read aloud from some favorite titles!  You may even discover a book you want to read.


FAIRY TALE BALL     everyone welcome
Friday, April 21      6:00-8:00 p.m.
Come one, come all to the 3rd Annual Fairy Tale Ball! Come in costume and dance and play the night away. The whole family will enjoy food, crafts, games, stories, a DJ, and so much more! Join us for this special after-hours event unlike any other, featuring traditional and contemporary fairy tales from around the world.

**If fewer than 5 children are registered, program may be cancelled.

†Everyone must have a ticket to enter the program. Reserved tickets must be picked up at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.  Unclaimed tickets will be given to those waiting. Parking can be a problem when we have large events, so please plan ahead.
