The LPS Professional Learning Committee is proud to offer this workshop for the Spring 2017 semester that will be taught by our own LPS faculty.
Google classroom is an excellent tool for sharing and collecting assignments and keeping track of shared classroom resources. It is essential for any teacher looking to use the collaborative tools of G-suite in his or her classroom.
This blended course will enable teachers to learn the ins and outs of Google classroom at their own pace and mostly in their own environment. The class will meet face to face for an introductory hour at which time we will establish norms and examine ways to differentiate the online instruction. Outside of the class, teachers will watch interactive videos via EDpuzzle, post questions and comments in Google classroom, and create their own Google classroom activities with at least one of their classes. We will meet again at the midpoint of the course for a one-hour check-in and at the end of the course for a one-hour wrap up.
