As a part of our Comprehensive School Counseling Curriculum, every 9th, 10th and 11th grader will again have the opportunity to meet with his/her school counselor for a 10-15 minute Academic Advising appointment.
The Goals of Academic Advising:
• Review graduation requirements
• Discuss student's courses recommendations/requests
• Consider course recommendations/requests and there connection to future planning
• Reflect on the student's academic placements in relation to balance and wellness.
Academic Advising runs March 13th to March 31st
Week 1 - March 13th-17th: Juniors 
Counselors will make individual appointments with their juniors, when possible, during free blocks.  Note: Counselors will also be teaching Sophomore Seminar this week.
Week 2: March 20th-March 24th: Sophomores and Freshmen.  
Counselors will continue the advising process using sophomore seminars and will meet with freshmen during English/History blocks.
Week 3: March 27th -March 31st: Sophomores, Freshmen and Clean-up. 
Counselors will make individual appointments with sophomores this week and continue academic advising with freshman in English/History classes.
I-Block: Counselors will be using I-Block during Academic Advising for missed appointments, absences, and follow-up appointments.
