Respect, Responsibility, and Best Effort...what do they look like? At our first All School Meeting, students got an opportunity for follow up on what those three things look like across school settings.
Teachers began the year by sharing with students what respect, responsibility, and best effort look like in the classroom, hallways, bathrooms, cafeteria, all school meeting and other school settings. The intent of frequent reviews is to help students internalize and understand what behaviors are expected of them across the school. By being clearer with students around what is expected, staff can then focus attention and energies on teaching and learning.
Be sure to ask your child about what respect, responsibility and best effort look like! They've been doing a great job of showing us while at school!
