• SMART Clickers

  • About:

The SMART Response software (for the SMART Brand Clickers), can help teachers create assessments and get instant feedback from students. The SMART clickers are particularly useful for creating formative assessments because they allow a student to give an open-text response of up to 140 characters. This can lead to great classroom discussions and allow teachers to really find out what students are thinking in the moment. (What is it, who would use it, why would you use it, Logo/Picture, version, who to contact)
Any teacher who has access to the SMART brand clickers and has the software on their computer could use the SMART Response software in their classroom. One of the benefits of the software is that any teacher, no matter what subject they teach or what their style of teaching is can use it for assessments. Even math teachers can benefit from the equation editor and the ability to accept responses in a variety of mathematical formats.
The software primarily works through the SMART Notebook software, so a teacher first will open that software: SMART Notebook Logo   and then access the SMART Response software from within Notebook: SMART Response Logo . Along with the software, teachers will need to setup their classes using the Response Teacher Tools software: Response Teacher Tools Logo .
If you have any questions, please contact Howard Wolke, Maggie Keeler or your building ITS.
