  • 2017-2018 Events:

    Scholastic Art and Writing Awards:

    December submission, January 30th 2018 results posted. 

    The winners from this year in Art categories are: 

    Janice K., Lucia T., and Powell Z. for earning Honorable Mentions.

    Clarke had 2 Silver Key winners this year: Monica M. and Elaine Z. as well as 3 Regional Gold Key Winners: Quenton X., Sarah L., and Isabel L.

    * Paws and Claws Family Paint Night

    Will return this year! Date: March 9th 2018. 5-7 pm in the Clarke cafeteria.  Hosted by Ms. Carbone and Mrs. Grant.  $20 per painter.  See below for details. Tickets can be purchased in the main office.  Space is limited! All proceeds benefit the Northeast Animal Shelter. There is also a donation box near the main office for shelter donations.

    *2018 k-12 Art Show
    This annual show displays work from all 6 elementary schools, both middle schools, and LHS.  Students who have work selected for the show by their Art teacher are invited to the Opening Night (with their families of course) on Wednesday, May 2nd 2018 from 6:30-8pm at the Central Office Gymnasium.  The show will be up until May 17th for anyone wishing to see the fabulous work from Lexington students at a time other than the Opening Night. 

     

    2016-2017 Events:

     * Paws and Claws Family Paint Night
    We have set a date for this year's Art-based community fundraiser!
    This year we are switching things up and in the place of Empty Bowls, we will be hosting an interactive paint night  here at Clarke on Friday March 10, 2017 from 5-7pm!
    All proceeds from this event (cost of registration/donations etc.) will go to the Northeast Animal Shelter!  Mark your calendars for this fun event!
    Thank you to everyone who came to the paint night and/or brought in pet supplies for the shelter.  With your support we were able the bring a check of $680 and a HUGE box of needed supplies to the Northeast Animal Shelter on Saturday March 11th.  Thanks for making this fun night a success!
