Mrs. McGibbon

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. McGibbon

My name is Zeba McGibbon (previously Zeba Race) and I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten here at Bridge School!

I am excited to start my fourth year in Lexington, and my second year at Bridge Elementary School. Previously, I worked at Fiske Elementary School in both first grade and kindergarten. I have an undergraduate degree from Boston University in Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree from Boston College in Curriculum and Instruction with a certificate in Early Childhood Leadership and a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder. I plan to graduate in December! During my free time I love to ski, paint, and travel.

Fun Facts

I love skiing! I mostly ski at Sugarbush or Mad River in Vermont. I have been skiing since I was 2 years old! I was on the ski time in high school and at BU. I lived in Vermont after graduating from BU and taught skiing for a whole winter and part time the following winter.

I love traveling! I have been to 16 countries across 3 continents (North America, South America, and Europe). I love learning languages. I studied Spanish for 7 years and loved using it while traveling.

I love photography and painting. While I have never had any classes on photography or painting, I enjoy trying out my skills when I can!

My real name is Elizabeth! But I've had the nickname "Zeba" since I was 2, so I don't even remember being called Elizabeth!
