The /s/ and /sh/ sounds continue to be a focus. Students are solid with placement cues, but need reminders to monitor their productions. In addition to working on specific speech sounds, students are also working on monitoring their rate of speech. They came up with acronyms for the words "fast" and "slow."

on the /sh/ and /ch/ sounds in the initial positions of words in phrases.
Putting the top teeth gently on the sides of the tongue helps get the proper
positioning for this sound.
We read The Selfish Crocodile and made clothes pin crocodiles to eat up SH words.
We read Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and are making SHowers of different objects and then making up new compound words that include the CH sound.
