  • Historical Fiction Unit

Posted by Krystal Wettstone on 4/25/2018

This week the students continued reading in their Historical Fiction novels, tracking theme development.   By Monday, they should be able to share their 12 -16 pieces of evidence with me.  This is the second read through, so they should be selecting evidence that helps to support the theme of the novel.

Students also worked in groups to create a newsletter, sharing information about the Great Depression.  Students research different topics about the Great Depression.  Students will be able to use the information in the newsletters throughout the rest of the unit.
