Every school in the district has at least three literacy specialists. The services we provide are part of the regular education curriculum. We support the classroom teachers with the delivery of the Reading and Writing programs, as well as provide literacy intervention to students. Through the assessments we conduct we are able to determine students' performance in reading and writing and tailor instruction to fit students' needs. We are the literacy resource to staff and to parents.
