    Parents

    Q: What do I have to do to check my student's attendance/progress reports on-line

    A: An account and password is required to access this information. Please see Principal Cohen's letter for instructions on activating your account and/or information on abtaining your initial login and password.     Q: What is the X2 Aspen Portal

    A: X2 is the student information system LHS is using. The portal provides parents/guardians with on-line access to student attendance and progress reports. The link is https://www.x2dev.net/lexington

    Q: Can I request a transcript for my son/daughter?

    A: Under FERPA, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy ACT of 1974, parents are presumed to have full rights to their child's records unless the school has evidence of court order. Parents should complete the Records Request Form.

    Q: Where can I get information on the Community Service requirement

    A: Information about the Community Service requirement, including service opportunities and forms can be found on the Student Community Service page.

    Q: Where/when are summer assignments posted?

    A: Summer assignments are usually posted after June 1st every year. Information for English and Social Studies courses is posted on the Library page. Science summer assignments are posted on the Science Department page.

    Q: Where can I get a work permit?

    A: Work permits may be obtained, free of charge, in the Main Office. Students must have a job before requesting a work permit.

    Transcripts

    Q: I graduated many years ago...Do you still have my transcript?

    A: Yes, we have high school records back to 1936.

    Q: How do I request a copy of my transcript?

    A: Complete the Records Request Form. Instructions are included on the form.

    Q: I need proof of graduation; do I need a transcript or a copy of my diploma?

    A: Your transcript shows the graduation date as grades and credits earned. Most places requiring proof of high school graduation will accept a transcript. Lexington High School does not keep copies of diplomas.

    Q: What if I don't want to send my transcript, but still need proof of graduation?

    A: We can provide a letter for you to verify your graduation date. Email the Registrar .

    Q: How does my class get listed on the Alumni page?

    A: If your class has a web site, please send us the URL to add to the list. You can also send a one page flyer announcing special events or organizing activity. Please send all requests to the LHS webmaster .
