• Ms. Whitney Factor was raised in the countryside of New Jersey for twenty three years. Growing up, she always asked questions, and being inquisitive lead her down the path of science. She fell in love with everything scientific, from small particles under her microscope to the jubilant life she saw around her every day. Her passion drove her to her obtain a B.A in Biological Science from Rutgers University. After graduating, the opportunity to become a TA in Organic Chemistry helped foster her passion for teaching. In 2013, she moved to Boston to acquire her M.Ed from Lesley University, and to pursue a teaching career in Lexington. Prior to teaching Fuji science, sixth grade engineering and seventh grade technology, she was an Instructional Assistant at Clarke Middle School. This year will be her sixth year in the district! When she is not teaching she likes to read, cook, travel, watch sports and spend time with her family.
