PL-HE-1032 CPR & AED for Workplace, Family & Friends - Complete Certification Course

Wednesday, March 8, 2017 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

The LPS Professional Learning Committee is proud to offer this course for the Spring 2017 semester that will be taught by our own LPS faculty.

Back by popular demand, this mini-course provides training for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) device that is located at every school in the district and at the Central Administration Building.  This session will provide an overview of:

  • Adult CPR
  • Adult AED use
  • Child CPR/AED use
  • Infant CPR
  • Adult, child and infant relief of choking

The course is instructor-led (with accompanying video) and includes guided skills practice throughout.  The course offers certification in CPR, and it provides knowledge and information for preliminary situation responses.  Upon successful completion of a test at the end of the session, participants can receive a certification card ($5 fee).
