PL-TCH-853 Introduction to Google Calendar
Tuesday, February 28, 2017 3:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
The LPS Professional Learning Committee is proud to offer this workshop for the Spring 2017 semester that will be taught by our own LPS faculty.
You’ve started to look at Google Drive and Docs, maybe you have a personal Gmail account, but did you know that Google Calendar can help you organize your life, both personally and professionally? With the options to add and share calendars, you can schedule PLC meetings with your team, organize after-school sports pickup with your partner, and share assignment deadlines with students, all while making sure you never miss a meeting or deadline.
This course is designed for users new to Google Calendar who want to get started with this tool with their @lexingtonma.org accounts. At the end of this course, participants will have set up their LPS Google calendar, know how to send invitations, and share particular events or entire calendars between LPS accounts as well as other (including their own personal) accounts. They will also get tips and tricks for managing and personalizing their Calendar experience.
