The LPS Professional Learning Committee is proud to offer this workshop for the Spring 2017 semester that will be taught by our own LPS faculty.

Open to all educators looking to increase or prove their knowledge of G-suite.  You will receive a Google Certified Educator Level 1 Training badge from Google!  Are you looking to solidify your Google skills across Docs, Drive, Forms, Gmail, and more?  Whether you’re a Google newbie starting from scratch, or a longtime Google user ready to take your learning to the expert level, this course allows you to learn the ins and outs of the G-suite of tools in a flexible, hybrid (online and face-to-face) model.  Be the Google expert of your team, or better yet, sign up with colleagues and transform your approach to instruction and organization with G-suite!

In the face-to-face meetings, you will be introduced to the training program and your learning cohort.  You’ll have drop-in work sessions, with support on hand.  The final face-to-face session is where you will take the Level 1 exam; this test is 180 minutes without pause, and participants must register for the exam at least 24 hours prior to the session (cost for the exam is $10, to be paid by the participant).

The 12 hours of work on your own is when you will complete the Educator Level 1 Fundamentals Training modules and unit reviews, all designed by Google.  You can plan the schedule that works for YOU, and know you’ll have in-person support through the face-to-face meetings!
